Overnight diapers aren’t just for nighttime. As Overnight diapers aren’t just for nighttime. As a mom of four, they’re also one of my favorite mom hacks for taking little ones on the go. @huggies Overnites have up to 100% leak free and nighttime protection and are extra absorbent for uninterrupted sleep and comfort. All the naps in the car, stroller and carrier? Those are vital for surviving a long day out of the house with a baby and big siblings. And Walmart just launched a new pack size for about $20 making them even easier to add to your nighttime and on the go routine.#huggies #huggiesovernites

Costco snack challenge - think I can make it in an Costco snack challenge - think I can make it in and out and only buy @snackjacksons sweet potato chips? #sponsoredJackson’s Chip are my family’s favorite snack - they’re made only with avocado oil (no seed oils, ever), kettle cooked for the most amazing crunch, and the sea salt flavor only has three ingredients. Also, as a food allergy family, we love that Jackson’s is top 9 allergen free, so these are perfect for school, camp and sharing with friends. You can now find Jackson’s sea salt sweet potato chips at Costco Midwest 🙌🏻
If you’re looking for a family-friendly all-you- If you’re looking for a family-friendly all-you-can-eat buffet in Columbus, @thefeastbuffet has it all. Such a great variety of sushi, stir fry, dim sum, fruit, hibachi and pho, plus a rotating menu of kid-friendly favorites like mac and cheese, French fries and chicken nuggets. My picky eaters and more adventurous eaters can all find something they love to eat. Pricing for kids is based on height - kids under 36” are free and kids 36-55” are half price. We went for lunch, which was $16.99 and absolutely a great deal. Especially if you’re like us and feeding a family of six. Pricing for dinner and weekends is more, but you also get more seafood options and it’s still a really good price for the selection. 📍 2620 Bethel Rd, Columbus#columbus #columbusohio #cbusfoodscene #cbusfoodbloggers #cbusfoodie

We had the BEST day at the @childrensmuseum and I’m still surprised we packed so much in. The Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience was hands down our favorite. It’s 7.5 acres of outdoor experiences where kids can try out so many different sports in “my-sized” equipment. There’s basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, football, track and field, and so much more. There’s even a pedal car racetrack and a giant sports-themed tree house to play in. Tiana’s Joyful Celebration was another favorite. The whole exhibit is themed for Mardi Gras season in 1928 New Orleans and it’s all so colorful and festive. You also can’t miss their antique carousel, revisiting nostalgic American pop culture, giant dinosaurs, immersing yourself in Peruvian culture, and their Playscape for the littlest museum visitors. My best advice is that if you only have one day, go early and fit in as much as you can. But if you’ve got two days to spend at the museum, you can definitely pace it better and revisit some of your favorite activities from the first day! Indianapolis is only a few hours from Columbus, making the Children’s Museum the perfect extended day trip or excuse for a weekend getaway. Each month has a different theme and open to all ages. Check out a Summer Art Break - these are opportunities for hands-on creating during the week. What activities are you planning to do at the Columbus Museum of Art this summer?
I love a good opportunity to recreate an old image I love a good opportunity to recreate an old image and the space under the Fireworks of Glass Chihuly sculpture at @childrensmuseum might be my favorite spot. Stop down there in the afternoon after the crowds have thinned out and it’s the perfect spot to take a break, enjoy the view and capture a memory from your day.1st image is from our recent trip to @visitindy with kids 2-4. 2nd image is from April 2017 with our oldest.

Natural HomeLogic Product Review

Becoming a parent has made me a lot more conscientious about the products that enter our home. Before Liam, I had a regular supply of scented candles, air freshener plug-ins, fabric softener and an array of cleaning supplies. Once pregnant, I got better about reading the labels. I also did a lot of reading about which chemicals are super harmful but are found in a lot of these products anyway. I’ve even overhauled my own personal products like shampoo and lotions to make sure I’m using natural products without the icky ingredients. I’m always looking for more natural products I can use in our home to replace all the conventional ones. I recently heard about Natural HomeLogic cleaning products from Logic Products and wanted to give them a try.

If you haven’t heard about them, HomeLogic has a line of safe and natural soaps and home cleaning products. One of my favorite things about the HomeLogic products is that the list of what the soaps and cleaning products do NOT contain is much longer than their list of ingredients. All of the HomeLogic products are phthalate free, ammonia free, formaldehyde free, chlorine free, bleach free, petroleum free, DEA and PEG free, paraben free, nonylphenol ethoxylate free, triclosan free methylisothiazolinone and benzisothiazolinone free, and TEA free. The U.S.-made products are eco-friendly, biodegradable and free of artificial colors and fragrances. They’re also not tested on animals and completely vegan!

I tried the toilet bowl cleaner and hand soap in the Jasmine mist scent and the all-purpose cleaner and dish soap in the citrus grove scent. Out of the four products I received, I would have to say that the toilet bowl cleaner was my favorite. Not because I love cleaning the toilet. (Does anyone?) But because that’s one of the few lasting conventional cleaning products still in my house. Because toilets.

Ew.

The worst thing about cleaning toilets (besides the fact that it’s a toilet) is having to stand as faaaaaaaar enough away from the toilet as you’re squeezing the bottle of cleaner into the toilet bowl and scrubbing with the brush. Otherwise you risk the cleaner splashing out of the toilet onto you causing a nasty chemical burn and requiring an ambulance trip to the hospital. Okay, so probably not that severe. At worst, you’re probably looking at a bleach stain on your jeans. Which is still pretty bad, in my book. And warnings about chemicals, poison control and all that jazz on labels generally makes me a bit nervous. With a natural cleaning product like HomeLogic’s, there’s no balancing act required to clean the toilet.

I decided that I much preferred the Jasmine mist-scented products over the citrus grove. Since I’ve cut out most artificial fragrances from our household these last few years, I find that I’ve become quite sensitive to scents. Even natural ones. I like the Jasmine mist because it’s a little gentler of a scent. If you like the smell of traditional cleaners, you might prefer the citrus grove scent more. It has that citrusy scent that’s common in cleaning products. I did, however, love how clean and sparkly the all-purpose cleaner got my kitchen sink.

When I received my package, the sprayer attachment for the all-purpose cleaner arrived damaged. I want to give a huge shoutout to LogicProducts’ customer service. They sent out a replacement quickly and were very easy to work with.

Cost-wise, I feel like the HomeLogic products are right on par with what I’ve spent on similar natural cleaning products at the store. More than the conventional brands, obviously. But I’m always willing to pay more for better (and safer) ingredients. And if you follow Logic Products on social media, you can easily stock up during a sale. There’s free shipping on orders of $49 or more too.

HomeLogic is just one collection from the Logic Products brand. They also have TotLogic (for littles), BarkLogic (for dogs) and LiceLogic (for, you know, lice). You can check out their website for the full line of products or head over to their Instagram. There’s even still time to order your cleaning products before Christmas. This way, your house can be nice and clean, naturally, before your company arrives. You can use the code LITTLEFIRE25 for 25% off your purchase. The discount code expires December 31st. Happy cleaning!
