Liam and I love his clothes from Little Rascals Shop, another one of our Insta-favorites. The shop owner, Mary, hand-stamps her designs on American Apparel tees and tanks for littles like Liam who like to express some of their fun and wild personalities through their clothing. Have I told you lately how crazy my kid is? Sometimes there’s not enough wine in the world. 😉 Okay, back to the clothes, haha.

Little Rascals Shop is based out of Bell Gardens, California, which means that when you buy something from Little Rascals, you’re not only buying handmade, but you’re also buying a U.S.-made product. It’s another reason why I prefer to purchase Liam’s clothes through small businesses like this. Plus, it also means that I’m supporting another woman in business and fellow mompreneur.

One of the things I love about Little Rascals is that Mary personally designs and carves each of her stamps by hand. There’s something incredibly real and authentic about knowing each piece is created by hand and therefore contains a certain uniqueness you just won’t find in mass-manufactured clothing. Since each piece is hand-printed, every item is slightly different from the others.

Little Rascals Shop currently offers most of its designs within seven different collections: Wild Thing, Camera, Ice Cream Cone, Penguin, Superhero, Hug Me and Love. From each of those collections, you can order your favorite design on t-shirts, tank tops, raglans, sweatshirts/pullovers, cardigans and even leggings. There are a few stray items not in a collection, like Liam’s “BOY” tank and Little Rascals Shop’s popular number designs. If the design you want isn’t offered on the website on the type of apparel you want, you can also always send a message to Mary to see what options she has available. This is another beautiful thing about buying from a shop that creates its items by hand.

Since Mary uses American Apparel, the clothing generally runs true-to-size. AA tanks tend to run a teensy bit on the small side, so if your child is between size, make sure to size up when ordering. Pricing-wise, the clothes from Little Rascals Shop are extremely affordable and honestly, comparable or even slightly less than you might spend on a tee or tank in a regular store. If full price is still a little too much than you like to spend, I always recommend that you turn on your IG notifications for shops you like so that you know when the sales happen.

My favorite pick for mamas is Little Rascals Shop’s “LOVE” mama tank ($24). For kids, it’s hard to choose, but I’d say my absolute favorites are the new “HUG ME” tank romper (preorders just closed, but Mary hopes to do another order for these sometime in April), the “WILD THING” tee ($20), and the “CLARK” leggings ($22).
