Overnight diapers aren’t just for nighttime. As Overnight diapers aren’t just for nighttime. As a mom of four, they’re also one of my favorite mom hacks for taking little ones on the go. @huggies Overnites have up to 100% leak free and nighttime protection and are extra absorbent for uninterrupted sleep and comfort. All the naps in the car, stroller and carrier? Those are vital for surviving a long day out of the house with a baby and big siblings. And Walmart just launched a new pack size for about $20 making them even easier to add to your nighttime and on the go routine.#huggies #huggiesovernites

Costco snack challenge - think I can make it in an Costco snack challenge - think I can make it in and out and only buy @snackjacksons sweet potato chips? #sponsoredJackson’s Chip are my family’s favorite snack - they’re made only with avocado oil (no seed oils, ever), kettle cooked for the most amazing crunch, and the sea salt flavor only has three ingredients. Also, as a food allergy family, we love that Jackson’s is top 9 allergen free, so these are perfect for school, camp and sharing with friends. You can now find Jackson’s sea salt sweet potato chips at Costco Midwest 🙌🏻
If you’re looking for a family-friendly all-you- If you’re looking for a family-friendly all-you-can-eat buffet in Columbus, @thefeastbuffet has it all. Such a great variety of sushi, stir fry, dim sum, fruit, hibachi and pho, plus a rotating menu of kid-friendly favorites like mac and cheese, French fries and chicken nuggets. My picky eaters and more adventurous eaters can all find something they love to eat. Pricing for kids is based on height - kids under 36” are free and kids 36-55” are half price. We went for lunch, which was $16.99 and absolutely a great deal. Especially if you’re like us and feeding a family of six. Pricing for dinner and weekends is more, but you also get more seafood options and it’s still a really good price for the selection. 📍 2620 Bethel Rd, Columbus#columbus #columbusohio #cbusfoodscene #cbusfoodbloggers #cbusfoodie

We had the BEST day at the @childrensmuseum and I’m still surprised we packed so much in. The Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience was hands down our favorite. It’s 7.5 acres of outdoor experiences where kids can try out so many different sports in “my-sized” equipment. There’s basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, football, track and field, and so much more. There’s even a pedal car racetrack and a giant sports-themed tree house to play in. Tiana’s Joyful Celebration was another favorite. The whole exhibit is themed for Mardi Gras season in 1928 New Orleans and it’s all so colorful and festive. You also can’t miss their antique carousel, revisiting nostalgic American pop culture, giant dinosaurs, immersing yourself in Peruvian culture, and their Playscape for the littlest museum visitors. My best advice is that if you only have one day, go early and fit in as much as you can. But if you’ve got two days to spend at the museum, you can definitely pace it better and revisit some of your favorite activities from the first day! Indianapolis is only a few hours from Columbus, making the Children’s Museum the perfect extended day trip or excuse for a weekend getaway. Nuby Product Reviews | Snacktime with Nuby

May 29, 2017      favorite things, giveaways, reviews      10 Comments

Does your kid go through snacks like mine does? I don’t know where he puts it. It doesn’t matter how much food Liam’s eaten during a meal…he’s already begging for something else as soon as he leaves the table. I’m always looking for ways to make mealtimes more fun and snack time convenient. Especially since we’re on the go so much. I thought I’d bring you some Nuby product reviews for a few items we’ve discovered (and loved) lately that are helping make both possible. There’s a giveaway at the bottom of this post, so make sure you remember to enter! Liam chose his favorite item of the three products we’ve reviewed in this post as the item for the giveaway. I agree with him that it’s a pretty awesome product, so don’t miss out on this one.

Nuby Sure Grip Miracle Mat

Liam is old enough where he doesn’t really need a plate that suctions to the table anymore. But when he tried to slide Nuby’s Sure Grip Miracle Mat across the table and couldn’t, I realized that this is really going to come in handy once Caleb is older, eating food and in his “throw everything on the floor” stage. Every kid has one, right?

The Miracle Mat is both a placemat and a plate rolled into one. Its suction is super strong like I mentioned and it also has a non-slip base. This makes it hard to slid off the table and for tiny hands to pick up. I also love that it’s a sectioned plate. So I can give Liam multiple things in his dish without the wet items like gravy or juicy fruit seeping into everything else. Because food touching other food spells disaster sometimes.

Liam keeps requesting the “bear plate.” He thinks its so fun that the mat we received looks like a teddy bear. Anyone who has a toddler knows how picky they can be. So anything that helps make mealtime a little more fun is great to have on hand. And if your child is still using a high chair, you can get a smaller-sized mat that will fit on the high chair tray. No bear face in this instance, but it will still have the strong suction and sectioned plate.

The Nuby Sure Grip Miracle Mat is available on Amazon.com, Babies R’ Us and at Target.

Nuby Snack N’ Sip

It’s a snack cup. And a drinking cup. Both in the same container, which is the greatest thing to a toddler. Liam’s been raving about this cup since I took it out of the package. No, seriously. He was telling some stranger at the grocery store all about it the other day.

My favorite thing about this cup is that it doesn’t skimp in either department. The snack compartment holds 4.5 ounces of dry snacks and the drink portion holds 9 ounces of liquid. This is plenty if you’re running errands or are going to be out and about for a couple of hours. And hopefully, not so much that you’ll need to stop for a potty break.

Liam’s favorite thing about the Snack N’ Sip cup (other than the snacks, of course) is that the entire thing fits in his car seat cup holder. The way we normally travel, his cup is in his cup holder and his snacks are in his lap. If he’s not holding on or paying attention, his snack container will sometimes fall onto the floor when I make a turn or stop the car. And if you have a toddler, you know. Total devastation. Having both his snack and his water in the same cup AND being able to store it safely in his cup holder makes it easy for him to access any time he wants.

Other highlights of the cup include its no spill 100% silicone flex straw and no spill valve. And the fact that it’s BPA free.  The Nuby Snack N’ Sip is available at Babies R’ Us and Target. You can also buy it online on Amazon.com! nuby-product-reviews-snack-n-sip-26nub-product-reviews-snack-n-sip-21

Nuby Thirsty Kids Flip-it

Now that Liam’s three, I really feel like we’ve outgrown the whole “sippy cup” stage. He’s more capable of drinking from regular cups and bottles. And we need something that matches our on-the-go lifestyle as well as his “big boy” status. Nuby’s new Thirsty Kids Flip-it water canteen is just that.
nuby-product-reviews-thirsty-kids-flip-it-14

Active, growing kids need to drink plenty of water, especially as the weather gets warmer. The Flip-it holds 12 ounces of water, has a hygienic cover that keeps the mouthpiece clean when it’s closed and has an easy-to-press button for kids to get a drink whenever they want. And it’s made from BPA-free durable Triton plastic, to protect it from breaking when it gets dropped.

I also love that it has a nice-sized handle on it. This makes it perfect for Liam to carry around himself. And it would be super easy for us to hook it onto a hiking backpack for all our outdoor trips this summer.

Wow! These are great toddler items! I love the idea of the Snack N Sip. My little guy loves to graze during long car rides so it would be perfect him.

Some of our favorite activities are fishing, hiking, going to parades, grilling, and running through the sprinklers. It’s going to be a slower summer for us this year as our second little is due in Aug/Sept.

what fun adventures do we have planned for the summer? Well, we really have not planned anything out yet. However, I am sure our summer will include picnics at the park, walks along the nature trail, splashing in the pool, a visit to the zoo and aquarium and lots of fun in the sun. My girls love to play outside. Thank you for sharing your review. @sahmof3girls
