Body pillows were all the rage when I went to college. Maybe they still are? I’m so far removed from that now that I have no idea what’s still in style. But I do remember that having a large pillow to snuggle up with at night definitely added a level of comfort when I lived away from home. So wouldn’t it be a good idea to make something similar just for kids? Oh wait, someone did! The Sleep ZZZ Pillow is a new toddler/kid body sleep pillow designed for comfort and to encourage better sleep. We received one for free to try out and Liam (and Jamie…you’ll see below) loves it!
Recommended for children ages 3 and up, the Sleep ZZZ pillow is supposed to help your child fall asleep by comforting them. It makes it easy for snuggling and it’s almost like having mom or dad sleeping next to you (without one of us actually having to be there). I really can’t speak to whether it’s impacted Liam’s ability to sleep better through the night. He’s still all over the place. Some nights he’s in his room all night and others he’s climbing into bed with us sometime around 3 a.m.
It sure helps Jamie sleep, though.
Sleeping isn’t its only purpose though. The 100% soft polyester cover makes it perfect for lounging too. In the bed, on the floor, watching a movie…it’s just a great all-around pillow. Liam likes to use it in bed to read his books.
And I’ll sometimes catch him napping with it too.
