Overnight diapers aren’t just for nighttime. As Overnight diapers aren’t just for nighttime. As a mom of four, they’re also one of my favorite mom hacks for taking little ones on the go. @huggies Overnites have up to 100% leak free and nighttime protection and are extra absorbent for uninterrupted sleep and comfort. All the naps in the car, stroller and carrier? Those are vital for surviving a long day out of the house with a baby and big siblings. And Walmart just launched a new pack size for about $20 making them even easier to add to your nighttime and on the go routine.#huggies #huggiesovernites

Costco snack challenge - think I can make it in an Costco snack challenge - think I can make it in and out and only buy @snackjacksons sweet potato chips? #sponsoredJackson’s Chip are my family’s favorite snack - they’re made only with avocado oil (no seed oils, ever), kettle cooked for the most amazing crunch, and the sea salt flavor only has three ingredients. Also, as a food allergy family, we love that Jackson’s is top 9 allergen free, so these are perfect for school, camp and sharing with friends. You can now find Jackson’s sea salt sweet potato chips at Costco Midwest 🙌🏻
If you’re looking for a family-friendly all-you- If you’re looking for a family-friendly all-you-can-eat buffet in Columbus, @thefeastbuffet has it all. Such a great variety of sushi, stir fry, dim sum, fruit, hibachi and pho, plus a rotating menu of kid-friendly favorites like mac and cheese, French fries and chicken nuggets. My picky eaters and more adventurous eaters can all find something they love to eat. Pricing for kids is based on height - kids under 36” are free and kids 36-55” are half price. We went for lunch, which was $16.99 and absolutely a great deal. Especially if you’re like us and feeding a family of six. Pricing for dinner and weekends is more, but you also get more seafood options and it’s still a really good price for the selection. 📍 2620 Bethel Rd, Columbus#columbus #columbusohio #cbusfoodscene #cbusfoodbloggers #cbusfoodie

We had the BEST day at the @childrensmuseum and I’m still surprised we packed so much in. The Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience was hands down our favorite. It’s 7.5 acres of outdoor experiences where kids can try out so many different sports in “my-sized” equipment. There’s basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, football, track and field, and so much more. There’s even a pedal car racetrack and a giant sports-themed tree house to play in. Tiana’s Joyful Celebration was another favorite. The whole exhibit is themed for Mardi Gras season in 1928 New Orleans and it’s all so colorful and festive. You also can’t miss their antique carousel, revisiting nostalgic American pop culture, giant dinosaurs, immersing yourself in Peruvian culture, and their Playscape for the littlest museum visitors. My best advice is that if you only have one day, go early and fit in as much as you can. But if you’ve got two days to spend at the museum, you can definitely pace it better and revisit some of your favorite activities from the first day! Indianapolis is only a few hours from Columbus, making the Children’s Museum the perfect extended day trip or excuse for a weekend getaway. The Ultimate Small Shop Mother’s Day Gift Guide

April 24, 2018      favorite things, for the mamas      5 Comments

Mother’s Day always tends to catch me a little off guard. The weather is finally warming up and we’ve started playing outside and heading out to play dates at the park and to the zoo. Liam’s school year is coming to a close and we’re busy gearing up for summer. So choosing Mother’s Day gifts (both for myself and for some special women in my life) is usually pretty last minute. You too? Glad I’m not alone. I’m determined to be a little bit more organized this year. That’s why I’ve put together a Mother’s Day gift guide full of items from some of my favorite small shops. Whether you’re buying something for the mom in your life or dropping hints to the hubs, I’m pretty sure you’ll find something you love on this list!

the ultimate mother's day gift guide - Wear Love WandersDisclosure: I was sent some of these products for free for the purpose of this gift guide. All opinions are completely my own.

1. This bracelet-turned-key-ring from Bangle + Babe

I am constantly losing my car keys somewhere in the depths of my diaper bag. Or when we go to the park, I don’t need to lug a large bag around with me. This bangle bracelet key ring is just what I needed. It fits easily over my wrist so that I’m free to carry Caleb, hold Liam’s hand and not have to worry about where to put my keys. Or have to stop to pick them up after I’ve dropped them, because they’re already right around my wrist. It’s the easiest way to keep my keys close by for when I need them without having to juggle another thing in my hands. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 8th. IG | Facebook

2. Custom wood charging docks from Kitchen Niche

These are quite possibly my favorite gifts out of the bunch. The smaller one is the perfect fit for my cell phone and it keeps the charging cord always available but out of the way. The larger charging dock is actually designed for your phone with room for some other items beside it, like your keys, watch and a pen. It also fits my iPad. We use (and charge) both electronic devices regularly at our house, so these have already come in handy. I’ve got them set up in our kitchen, which is where we often charge our devices. These charging docks keep the cords more organizes on the countertop. Plus, you can’t beat an item that has your kids’ faces on them. So adorable. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 7th. 3. This women’s leather wallet from The Leather Expert

I never knew I was in the market for a new wallet until I held one of these in my hands. I love how luxurious the leather feels in my hands, but it’s totally functional too. There’s plenty of room for all my cards, cash and change, and even my phone. You can customize your wallet with your initials or the little gold heart.  Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 7th. IG | Facebook

4. Earrings from Avenue261

I love this brand because the owner, Nicke, designs her earrings with her daughter Avery. I think it’s so sweet that they create these pieces together and  it makes these earrings an even sweeter gift for Mother’s Day. The earrings are made from vegan faux leather and the ear hooks are nickel-free. Earrings come in four difference sizes and tons of different colors and patterns. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 7th. IG | Facebook

5. Rae Dunn-inspired kitchen tea towels from Sweet Southern Love

I have so much love for The Pioneer Woman and she is right up there with Joanna Gaines when it comes to farmhouse decor. Sweet Southern Love has these adorable tea towels made from flour sacks. They’re huge and are perfect for drying your hands after doing dishes. I’ve got ours pictured here with Liam’s play kitchen, because his kitchen is way more amazing than mine. Total #kitchengoals. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 7th. IG | Facebook

6. Belly balm from Chanchas Garden

This belly balm is perfect for pregnant mamas. I’m not currently pregnant (bummer, I know), but there are other uses for this balm as well. Working with wool and other fibers makes my hands really dry. I love using this balm on my hands after I spend a couple of hours weaving. It also smells so relaxing! Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 7th. IG | Facebook

7. This mug from DeMarie Designs

I love a good mug. We’re slowly getting rid of our boring, plain old coffee mugs we’ve picked up over the last decade or so and changing them out for more fun and relatable ones. I love my new Mom Boss mug from DeMarie Designs, but this shop has so many pretty mug options to choose from for Mother’s Day. You can get these mugs in either 11oz or 15oz sizes and they’re both dishwasher and microwave safe. Considering I can never seem to finish my cup of coffee while it’s still warm, this is a must. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 8th. IG

8. Wrapped bracelet from B. Stamped

I’ve actually been a big fan of B. Stamped for a few years now, especially of their wrapped bracelets. These bracelets really give you the ability to customize them however you like and then choose one of several color options for the wrap part. I opted to have my bracelet customized with Liam and Caleb’s birth dates and I love how it turned out! Black is my choice of wrap color because it goes with everything. What color would you choose? Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: April 30th. IG | Facebook

9. Necklaces from 4th Generation Designs

If I could only wear one kind of jewelry, long necklaces would be it. That’s why I’m so in love with the necklaces from 4th Generation Designs. These handmade pieces are so well made and really pretty. I’m in love with this Rifle paper co fabric necklace, but there are so many options to choose from. Designs include Bible verses, inspirational sayings and pieces just for moms. And if you have a little girl, 4th Generation makes necklaces for littles too! Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 4th. IG | Facebook

10. This amazing tumbler from Mom Life Must Haves

Some days (okay, most days) I feel like I’m just surviving. Coffee has become my drink of choice to get me through the day. Especially that mid-afternoon drag when a certain preschooler doesn’t feel like napping. This tumbler is perfect for cold drinks, but if you prefer drinking your coffee hot, Mom Life Must Haves also has several mug designs. Or you can just skip right to the wine glass. I don’t judge. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 1st. IG | Facebook

11. Flower letters from Little Sparrow Co

I’m not much of a live plant person. My thumb is….let’s just say less than green. But that doesn’t mean I dislike plants and flowers. I adore the beautiful flower letters from Little Sparrow Co. These are great for decorating your home. I’m currently obsessed with succulents, so our “B” letter we received form Little Sparrow Co is so perfect. I decided to put it above Liam’s IKEA play kitchen. I love that it gives his play kitchen area a more homey look, but the “B” adds a lot to our living room as a whole. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: April 30th. IG | Facebook

12. Skin balm stick from Peace on Po

What I love about this skin balm is that it’s packaged in a stick. This makes it so easy for me to carry around in my purse and accessible when I’m on the go. And the shape also makes it easy to apply on my knuckles and elbows – two of the places where my skin gets dry the fastest. The Dreamweaver scent is so relaxing too! It’s scented with lavender, cedarwood and orange essential oils to promote rest and relaxation – just what a mama needs. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: April 30th. IG | Facebook

13. These leather earrings from J. Celine Jewelry

I love how these leather earrings can totally be dressed up or down, depending on where you’re headed. They’re perfectly sized at 2.5 inches long and come in several pretty colors. The ones I’m wearing are the earrings in denim blue, but I have my eye on the burgundy ones next. Which color would you choose? Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 7th. IG

14. #motherhood mug from Brittany Garner Design

BGD is one of my favorite brands for drinkware. Actually, just favorite brands, period. BGD markets itself as a lifestyle brand for “rad women who are running on very little sleep and tons of coffee.” If that’s you, then you need to check them out. The drinkware is definitely my favorite, but you can also score apparel and some art prints here. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 4th. IG | Facebook

15. A ceramic yarn bowl from Creativity Happens

If the mom in your life is a crafter, then one of these yarn bowls might be the perfect gift. I don’t knit, but as a weaver, a yarn bowl still comes in handy. It doesn’t take much for yarn to get all tangled up and knotted, and it’s a total pain to get everything straightened out. I actually use several kinds of fibers at a time for a single weaving project, so placing each skien in a yarn bowl keeps everything neat and tidy too. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 7th. IG | Facebook

16. Handwritten drawing pillow from Stitches by Natalie

Liam is 4.5 and only recently has he started making artwork for me. Usually daddy gets all the attention. I love picking him up from school and hearing him say that he painted a picture for me that day. He recently drew a photo of the two of us holding hands and I love that Stitches by Natalie was able to take his photo and embroider it right onto a pillow. It is the sweetest picture and now it gets to live in our home much longer than a piece of paper would. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: April 30th. IG | Facebook

17. Enamel bobby pins from 10 Gables

The Aria bobby pins from 10 Gables are so pretty! They’re made from glass enamel and copper and work perfectly for adding accents to braids and up-dos. I have really dark but not quite black hair, so traditional bobby pins are always hard for me to hide. I love that these bobby pins are totally functional but add a little color to my hairstyle too. Last day to order in time for Mother’s Day: May 1st. IG | Facebook
